With our help you can take the holiday of a lifetime.

ABOUT US – A History of Helping

  • The Cystic Fibrosis Holiday Fund For Children, as it was then called, was set up in 1986
  • The late Lawrence Levy was one of the inspirations and driving forces behind the charity, along with dedicated medical practitioners
  • Its main objective was “the provision of holiday and ancillary facilities to those under the age of 18 years suffering from cystic fibrosis”
  • Holidays were arranged, both in the UK and abroad, for large groups of children escorted by friends, family members, volunteers and medical staff
  • This had to stop in 2000 because of medical advice concerning the risk of cross-infection
  • In 2001 Lawrence’s brother, Peter Levy and their sister Jane Jason became trustees and her son James took over as the charity’s Chairman
  • Over the years the Cystic Fibrosis Holiday Fund has been supported by all kinds of well-wishers – from top golfers to comedians
  • It has helped many hundreds of children and young people to take much-needed breaks – it needs your help to fund more holidays in the future
